6-Day Bootcamp

  Requires 3–4 hours of self-paced learning and a 1-hour call over the first 5 days, followed by a 6–7 hour hackathon and pitch session on Day 6.

Young adults and seniors learn about AI and VR together to bridge the generational gap, fostering mutual understanding and collaboration. By exploring cutting-edge technology side by side, they enhance their digital literacy, share diverse perspectives, and build meaningful connections.

In this 6-week program, you’ll start with Orientation and Matching in Week 1 to accelerate learning and build connections. Weeks 2-5 are focused on intensive AI and Machine Learning or VR and AR learning. The program culminates in Week 6 with a Hackathon and Quick Pitch, where you’ll present your innovative solutions. This intergenerational exchange empowers seniors with new skills and confidence, enriches young adults with valuable life experiences, and creates a vibrant, inclusive community that embraces innovation and lifelong learning.

Join our community by filling out this form to stay up to date with our events and activities. 

Asynchronous learning will require 4-5 hours per week, and synchronous learning will meet for 3 hours every week online to review what has been learned, host Q&A sessions, and engage in discussions with experts in the field. These meetings will generally meet on Thursdays from 5-8pm PST. The last week of the program will require 20 hours of work for the Hackathon and Quick Pitch presentation.
