InterGen Innovators is VillageCore’s flagship program designed to close the generational gap in the tech industry. It brings students (18+) and seniors into collaborative learning pairs to:

• Learn AI and VR together

• Build tech-driven solutions for real-life aging challenges

• Compete in a final hackathon for a shot at internships and recognition

• Connect with industry mentors and community changemakers

This is learning, reimagined—and powered by people of all ages.

🗓️ What to Expect: Week-by-Week Breakdown

Week 1: Kickoff & Team Building

Get matched with your intergenerational partner. Break the ice, build trust, and set goals for the journey ahead.

Weeks 2–5: Skill Building in AI or VR

Choose your learning path:

• AI Track: Learn prompt engineering, explore tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot.

• VR Track: Build immersive environments with Unity and Unreal Engine, explore real-world VR use cases.

Meet weekly for skill sessions, peer collaboration, and mentor check-ins.

Week 6: Hackathon & Quick Pitch

Use your new skills to create an innovative project with your partner. Then pitch it to judges—including startups, nonprofits, and corporate leaders—for feedback, prizes, and potential internships.
